Transmit error

[email protected] #18767 Hello: When I hit the transmit button on my FT 60R, it shows "ERROR". It receives ok and the battery voltage shows 8.1 volts ?? It sat unused for about 3 months and I charged it up before using it but ERROR shows up now? Any suggestions? Maybe a new battery is? needed? Thanks for you help! Bob, NF7E

John Nicholas All Messages By This Member #18771 开云体育 If you think it might have something to do with the battery that is attached. ?Remove the battery. ?If you have a AA battery pack, load it with fresh cells and see. ?If you have a cigarette lighter, or USB style charging cord you could go that route. ?You can also use any wall wort that provides DC per the manual: EXT DC Jack This coaxial DC jack allows connection to an external DC power source (6-16V DC). Bob Wertz #18774 I am not sure what was wrong?? After playing with it for a while, it seemed to be locked up with "save" flashing and a memory symbol(as shown in the manual on page 31--something like "Eun"). regards to? Memory Offset Tuning.? But it is fixed now!
