Many thanks to Dave? WB6DHW, and Jim ?K5JG, for the solution to my problem.? Somehow the Operating Settings for aviation frequencies in my RT Systems software had been toggled from AM to FM, and I missed that detail in my troubleshooting.? Pilot error?

?

Ockham's Razor, the solution with the fewest assumptions (eg? - the simplest) is usually the right one.? So, that new antenna I bought for the mobile wasn¡¯t really necessary?? No wonder it had no effect.? Looks great, though.? J

?

Never even thought of examining the database for the Operating Mode setting.? That WILL be the first thing I check next time.

?

Mucho thanko, guys.

Thank you, thank you! I was having problems on the av frequencies, too, and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Turns out that my menu item 40, RX MOD, was somehow changed from AUTO to FM (RT Systems bit me too, maybe?). I changed it back to AUTO, and all is well. :-D

I'm glad it was that simple.

Have fun.
