A fuse is appropriate between the barrel connector and the Andersons. Other than that, I think using the red & black Andersons for "12V" power is as much as standard as 120 VAC plugs and outlets

It is an HT ..... but if you want to make it universal with all of your Anderson Power Pole stuff use the same connector and FUSE the power cord correctly for the device /-) Ht ... two amps /-) --
