DO NOT TURN IT ON.
You definitely don’t want to power it on while there are contaminates in
the head units. That will cause accelerated corrosion. You should clean
with, ideally, de-ionized water,

I would call Yaesu and ask them for their advice. If you are technically inclined you may be able to wash the circuits in ‘distilled water’. It has to be distilled else dissolved minerals
