Re: FT-60 Commander 0.0.5 BETA Released

I've experienced the same extremely slow downloads from qsl.net, both at

work (high-speed DSL) and at home ("regular" DSL) for the past several days. Either qsl.net is having technical problems or they don't have enough bandwidth to support all their users. Interestingly, I found that the downloads were noticeably quicker in the evenings than during the middle of the work day. Kind of surprising -- I'd have thought it would be the other way around. 73, Jim K5QL Ed Muro wrote:

I don't get it.... 3 times today, at different times, I tried to download it off qsl.net and it wants to take 18-22 minutes... I have broadband... when i downloaded ver 0.04 from Yahoo it took less than 2 minutes.

BUG-Commander Beta Ver 0.0.4
Ed Muro
OK, I downloaded the current version and installed it on top of the version I already had. Here's the deal.
My Vx-7 file seems to be importing OK, uploading OK and the radio appears to be transmitting on the repeaters now. However, if I go to what I will call the spread sheet to message the data, when I use the "move down arrow" button my spread sheet disapears, the screen turns grey, and that is that. I did not have this problem in earlier editions. Eddie Muro- Amateur Radio Station K2EPM Long Island, New York LIMARC Vice-President www.limarc.org |

If you look in the files section there might be a diagram on how to make a cable.
Also, Jim Mitchell has some information on cable at his website: Thirdly, you could buy one from a dealer. I am sure Clint at HRO could hook you up, 800-854-6046. ----Original Message Follows---- From: Dan Morisseau <dpm3@...> Reply-To: FT-60@... To: FT-60@... Yes, I had that same problem. While I am not happy about it, I am glad I was not the only one with that problem. When I tried to discuss that issue on the ft60 list Clint did not want me to discuss Commander beta issues on the list, that's why I started this list.
Anyway, I sent Jim my file but have not heard back. 73, Ed-k2EPM ----Original Message Follows---- From: "chuckn4ued" <cpridgen@...> Reply-To: FT-60@... To: FT-60@...
