Re: ft60r radio
You could be trying to transmit on a frequency outside the pre programmed limits. I get a 'error' message in this case. Best Regards

Sounds like the transmit frequency is out of band. You probably need double-check your programming, specifically the transmit offset. 73, Jim K5JG On 3/1/2016 10:03 PM, Barry Fitch ab9xp@... [FT-60] wrote:

开云体育If you don't have it on a charger, it is the battery. ?If you have on a charger or wall wart, the wall wart does not have enough umph to power the radio while transmitting. ?If you have the radio plugged in to a car outlet, there should be enough to operate on. ?You need at least around 3 amps, wall wart only puts out around 500 mah. ? Re: ft60r radio
Sounds like you have a bad battery. It may test at 8.0+ V but under load the voltage drops below usable. That’s typical response.

Re: Programming using Chirp
Hi All,
thanks for the responses. I've had success now and I have successfully loaded up several memories to the FT60. I'm not quite sure what I did, but after trying several times it eventually worked. Chirp seems a good and simple package to use, but if there are continuing issues i'll try the FT60 Commander software, that sounds like a useful alternative. Cheers and thanks again Dave M0IKT |

Try a different version of chirp. One back or the next daily build. I have seen this before and the last time it happened to me, I stepped back 1 version.
