I agree: the FT60 is the easiest radio to program. We've programmed ours using a computer and manually. Easiest both ways. ("We" being my YL, our sons, and me)
I've observed that people who have problems with it typically have a preconceived idea of how it should work & try to force the instructions to fit those ideas. One example are people who "know" the Banks store frequencies & settings. Once these people actually succeed in programming the radio, they understand the radio
The R.T. Systems software was supposed to make programming the FT-60 easy to understand and simplified, as opposed to doing this programming manually. I don't even want to think about how challenging this would be, manually(!)
?
The FT-60 has been around for 20 years now; I know why no one has offered a YOUTUBE video on this subject in all those years. Whew...
