Comm Settings for Programming FT-60 With CHIRP

Hello All,

After tearing my hair out and spending many fruitless hours searching the net for these settings, I finally found them.
In CHIRP! In the Log. (After several failed attempts)
They work. I was able to read the radio. Haven't tried an upload yet but I am sure all is now sorted out.

Here are the settings
Baud: 9600
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
Parity: None
Flow Control: None

Hope this helps some other hapless soul out there:-)

PS: I bought an JiYKR / WakeSnow 8-in-1 Programming Cable from a supplier in Australia.
It will program most commonly available Japanese and Chinese and some Motorola radios. They are readily available on the net.
NOTE: I had to file the end of the plastic connector body down to 6mm diameter to fit fully into the recessed "MIC/SP" socket on the radio.
Thanks to Hugh Burnham M0WYE for the socket "heads up" in his article "Connecting a Microphone and Loudspeaker to the Yaesu FT60E Transceiver" in the Files section of this group.
