The radio transmits on the memory channel that is currently
displayed.? There is no designated transmit channel.
When scanning and you hear something you want to reply to, briefly
press the PTT.? The radio will stop scanning and you will
transmit on the displayed channel (next time you press PTT).

I've tried searching here and the manual but need a hand
finding an answer.? How do I set a primary transmit
channel?? Say I am scanning but want to transmit only on a
specific channel, is there a way to set that?
Second follow up.? Say I am scanning again, is there an
easy way to transmit back on the received channel?? I've
set the home channel, but if I am monitoring 2 channels
what is the best way to make sure I reply back on the
correct freq?
