Lorna,
The model names FT-60 and FT-60R are used interchangeably. The FT-60E is
the European version.
Most accessories, including the speaker/mics, work on all models.

The Operating Manual that came with it is for a Yaesu FT-60R.
The handheld microphone that came with it does not work so I am needing
to get a replacement. Is the microphone listed in the book for either
FT-60 or FT-60R, or do I need to figure out what will work on the FT-60?
