I have used a battery eliminator from BatteriesAmerica.com - the CBE-V57 - for many years on a HX-370 marine radio, VXA-300 aircraft radio, and - of course - the FT-60R. ?Never have had any problems. ?It is not in continuous,?daily use, however.

Has anyone had experience of using the dummy battery cases fitted with a voltage regulator that let you use the FT60 via the 12 volt socket fitted in cars? These units are available from ebay sellers in China. Are they safe to use? Has anyone had any issues with them? 73, David - G4EDR
