hello I have a modulation difference between usb and lsb in lsb the modulation is wider, in usb it comes out narrower what should I calibrate to have a usb and lsb modulation the same?

I'm not sure, but you can verify the signal amplitude of USB and LSB oscillators Q3 and Q5 at the PB 1184. Are the same?

I don't know but from the service manual I can't figure out what I need to adjust

Hi Franco,

Many FT-101's have had their Carrier Crystals adjusted to match the aging crystal filter. A different white noise sound when switching from USB to LSB or vice-versa is the usual indication of a problem.

Please see the pdf located in our Files Folder #6 FT-101ZD Carrier Crystals Adjustment. Also good for the original FT-101 series.

Also please see the FT-101ZD operators manual located in folder #6 page 35.
