Wish I could offer more than moral support, but I' m fighting the same issue with a 101B.? Every time I correct one thing it uncovers something else.? Bad rectifier board, dirty relays, mismatched PA tubes.? Looks like this could be a long running project!

Tom, I value and appreciate moral support. Helps keep up the fighting spirit. I am hoping that I can get the original NEC tubes tested tomorrow to rule them out. I have new C13, C131 and C11 mica caps in hand that I know I should change, but I’ve been a bit intimidated by getting to C13. Looks like the face has to come off to remove the chassis side bar to get in there. I don’t believe this echo-echo has been touched by a #2 Phillips or a soldering iron since it left Japan. Still has the protective film over the panel.
