开云体育James?I have an FT-101ZD brochure.? I’m not sure how to scan it. Rather large. But I suppose can scan it in 8 1/2 x 11 segments.? Al K2AL? On Nov 22, 2021, at 11:57 AM, James Sawle (MD0MDI) <james@...> wrote:

The scan I have taken from the cover of the FT101ZD brochure is very large so hope it will load up here.? After approaching 41 years I have just realised the brochure I was given is for a version without WARC bands - despite my Set being WARC fitted.? If this is any good to you I will scan the rest of the brochure - but probably as smaller files.? Let me know.

The attachment above is of a really low resolution and size, so not sure if you have uploaded it somewhere else, I am after at least 600+ dpi or a file size per page of around 4-12Mb.
I am bidding a few from The USA on FleaBay, will cost a small fortune to get them sent here but at least I will be able to scan these. James |
I don't know much about the details behind scanning but I scanned the brochure page at 2400dpi with my Epson V750 scanner.? The original scan was over 1G which I reduced to around 30M before uploading it - Maybe the 'system' resizes images to prevent swamping (which would be understandable). I use the V750 to scan medium format transparencies, some for publication, and know that at 2400dpi the scanner is looking for detail not there on the originals!? If you are still interested maybe direct emailing might give you what you are looking for.? Alistair GM4ENF

Alistair That size of file will be too big to attach to a post and it will be too big to attach to a direct email as well. If you can do a file share and send the link to the OP,?that would be a successfully way.? 73 Don ve3ids On Fri., Nov. 26, 2021, 2:39 a.m. Alistair GM4ENF via , <alistairfyffe=[email protected]> wrote: I don't know much about the details behind scanning but I scanned the brochure page at 2400dpi with my Epson V750 scanner.?
