FT-101B transmits 20 kHz off frequency


 

Hello all ... any advice gratefully accepted. ?Transmits approx 20kHz above receive frequency. ?Clarifier seems to work correctly . ?Do I start on the power board? ?Thanks

Sadly no help ....my clarifier voltage round about 1.6V not the 4.8 V in video.? My VFO jumps 20kHz on MOX or when I turn the clarifier ON and zero it in the middle.? Beginning to suspect D13 adjacent to the clarifier control???

CLARIFIER ADJUSTMENT
The frequencies should coincide at CLARIFIER control OFF and 0 posi
tions In the receive mode . If not, adjust potentiomeTer VR4 located near
the clar ifier control potentiometer under the matn chassis until they do .
<See Fig. 7- 6).
Transmitter and receiver frequencies should coincide at the CLARIFiER
control OFF position. If not, adjust the ZERO potentiomeTer VR4 on PB1314A.
(This is VR3 on PB1547- see pages 5-22 and 5-33).
