No output FT-101E

Dear Mick

I'm not sure that I understood the complete problem, but if as you say " ALC/Power/IP still show the same readings if its putting power out or not ",
I believe or think that is a relay problem.
The relay in the tube cage commute between Tx and Rx mode.

I guess to see FT-101e schematic to take a overview it?s a good idea.

good luck

Have a problem with a 101E that I think might be heat related,
?
On first start up and warm up it tunes up ok no problem, after 10 mins or so either TXing or sitting idle it stops putting out power,
If I turn it off for 10/15 mins everything is back to normal, then 10 mins later it stops putting out power again,
If I never had a power meter in-line I would be none the wiser as the meters on the radio, ALC/Power/IP still show the same readings if its putting power out or not, lamps still dim slightly also putting out power or not.
Tried a new in-line meter and new driver tube, still the same problem,
Was working fine a few months ago when I last used it, no problem on receive, and this problem is on all bands.
Relays do click when pressing the PTT, saw a small relay in the tube cage, not sure what that one does,
?
Has anyone come across this before, Im ok with changing component’s on a board but pretty useless at fault finding, so if this sounds like something you might know that’s at fault could you please?
Point me in the right direction,

Thanks, Mick, SA4MDN
