The reason I bring this up is that it covered the timespan for the FRG-7 introduction and most of the FRG-7 modification/development.? The groups were named in the following format:
rec.radio. (something)
rec.radio.amateur
rec.radio.amatuer.antenna
rec.radio.amatuer.equipment
rec.radio.amatuer.receivers
and so forth.? Google kept about 20 years of archives, and if you dig a bit, there is more info about Frogs than you can ever use.
