Just got a new FT710 and it is working fine, but in order to hook it to my laptop I need to install a virtual com port driver on the laptop.? Has anyone out there had to do this to their laptop, and if so, what software worked for you?

Plugging it in to the available USB port doesn't work, and Yaesu says that the virtual com port driver must first
be installed before it will. My question is what software driver installation worked for others out there. There is some that is free and others that cost about $30 or so.?

Got the driver properly installed and system is good except no power out in transmit. This, apparently, is a common problem with several operator's rigs. More research lies ahead.
