I have a YD7001 which is used with my Dead rail garden layout, sending commands over WiFi to the battery powered locomotives. The system I use for the WiFi control is WiFiTrax.
Now, the issue I am having is that when we have had a number of locos running the amount of commands coming from the YD7001 starts to overwhelm the WiFi and I start getting delays in response from the locos and eventually some locos become unresponsive. This happens after about an hours running.
If I restart the YD7001 everything goes back to normal running.
Using a DCC sniffer, I can see commands are still being issued for locos that have been stopped and turned off (battery power off).
Is there a setting on the YD7001 to purge stationary locomotives. The Z21 enables this with a number of minute intervals.?
Also is there a way to reduce the number of times an update is sent to each loco or make it so no updates are sent unless there is a change?
Trying to reduce WiFi traffic.?
Cheers Brian
