I have been using Rocrail with Digikeijs products though I havn't fully explored the full range of possibilities yet. There is extensive input, both in German and English about using Digikeijs products with Rocrail in the Rocrail forum. I think the RR forum is closed to unregistered users which is probably not a lot of help. Rocrail has an extensive wiki (which is open) which gives instructions on configuration and usage. The wiki is vast and there are many things written but not always intuitive.
One useful document (for me) I have created for non-Digikeijs complex DCC accessory decoders is an addressing spreadsheet. Perhaps a similar spreadsheet for TCP/IP <-> Loconet <-> DCC addressing might be useful, especially for the more complex DR4018 signalling modes. Another useful document might be a spreadsheet for DR4088 or 5088 sensor addressing such that each Loconet address used relates to the device number and track section. Essentially Aide-memoire's. |
