S88N connected modules, should the status lights flash

All these conversations about LN and S88N modules has me concerned that all the wiring prep might not actually work once I power everything on. So here is my current question.?

I have two Digikeijs LN modules plugged into a 5097. Out of one LN module I have 3 S88N YaMoRC devices. Out of the other I have 2 S88N Digikeijs devices.?

When power to the command station is turned on, the status lights on the LN modules and the YaMoRC modules flash as if they are getting data. But there isn’t any flash from the Digikeijs S88N modules.?

I tried some cross plugging of network cables, but I could never get the Digikeijs S88N status lights to flash (except for a blip if I would plug on the data cable with power on)

Do I have an issue with my Digikeijs S88N modules or does the status light not continuously flash like the LN or YaMoRC modules.?

(If they are supposed to be flashing, any idea why they might not be?)

Thanks

Hi,

?

It's like this:

?

- YD6016LN provides a green heartbeat LED. As long as there is power and the module is not broken it will blink: ***.***. etc.? Frequency about 1 Hz. ( note that alle powered YaMoRC modules have this LED )

- YD6016ES provides a two green LED, one on IN and one on OUT.? Both flash rapidly when data is transmitted.

- all YD6016xx have a red activity LED which lights up ever brighter the more inputs are active

?

- DR4088LN provides a green(ish) LED that blink s with about 2Hz. when power is on and module is not broken.

- DR4088 have a red activity LED, that flashes for every occupied input from the module and/or any "upstream" modules

?

==> If a DR4088's activity light dos not flash, there are probably no active inputs.

Thank you so much for the detailed answer.?

There are not any inputs on any of the sensor units yet, so this makes sense.?

thanks
