DR5000 not recognizing loco on programming track
You have 2 track outputs on the DR5000.
The one in the middle is the power to run your trains it is marked 'TRACK OUPTUT', it will not read CV's but can program a CV using the POM function. The Track output just to the left of the power connector "Prog Track' is for reading and writing CV values, this is where you should have a piece of track connected just for that purpose. When you are not programming on the 'Prog Track' reverts to a normal section of track so you can check out your changes. Dennis |
开云体育Hello AndiWhat voltage have you got set on the power supply? If 19 or over the program track does not work. This is a safety function built in. Put lower voltage and it will work. James On 17 Feb 2020, at 20:01, St Paddy <andi@...> wrote:

开云体育Hi James,
Thanks for a quick and accurate response :)
Is that mentioned in the user manual anywhere? I hadn’t noticed it. Problem solved though.
Thanks again
Andi
