I have seen many posts on here reference availability.? Obviously we know that the YD7001 is an excellent system which is why we are here. But does a business just not scale up production and it's supply network when it knows its onto a winner? United Kingdom ???

The YD9401 is one of many items in the YAMORC product range, and the one with a limited sales life because it can only be used with a DR5000 and the market is reducing with so many DR500 already upgraded. You also forget that the model railway electronics market is a tiny, tiny part of the global trade and the components required to make a YD9401 are used by many other devices, indeed the core component is one of the most widely used items globally which make availability very limited when other industries consume the components in millions of units.

?

Finally, which other items in the existing range or which part of development should be de-prioritised to enable ¡®ramping up¡¯ production of the YD9401,

All true Iain (y)

And generally spoken a real pain in th a$$.

But good news. We have been able to up-scale the YD9401 production. First we had to tackle the automated production. Which we did by designing and manufaturing special, custom parts for the P&P machine.

Secondly, we had to get through the supply shortage of the genuine ESP32 ( cheap copies gave us many troubles in last autumn :( )? ... That has been solved now since yesterday :D :D?

From now on we are able to buy them in Full Reel quantities. Which we did.

So within 4 - 6 weeks, all backlogs for the YD9401 should be history ( unless the demand againg doubles or triples, like it did last spring... )

Well, I think we have seen a pretty nasty example of blindly scaling-up with, a.o. literally tonnes of foreign money... If I remember well that company also originated from The Netherlands ;)?

Well, that company went pretty quickly bankrupt as soon as it hit supply problems...

We choose to grow in a different way, organicly as they call it. We are independant of foreign money and want to keep it like that.?

We are convince that that is the way to go. The way to stay in business for a long time. Thus serving our custyomers better, more reliably and longer.

P.S. If you all would be be willing to pay double the price, we might get there much sooner :D :D :D?
