Hi, need help with programming cv47 on a dr4018, I’ve followed the instructions in the manual for using the Z21 app and set up a dummy loco with address 9999, added the F0 function and then pressed the button on the 4018 got a steady red light, entered the address 9999, cv47 and set CV to 2 as I’m using it for signals, press the button to turn red light off on the 4018 but nothing happens, signals aren’t coming on for me to set them. What am I missing?

Hi Iain,
I only have the Z21 app, I’m using it via a dr5000 so I don’t have that screen, thanks anyway.

No because I’m not doing that yet, I need to change the preset in CV47 from 1 to 2, from po) ts to signals, so I can then set the start address for my signals.

To be fair I always set the start address of the dr4018 before I ever set cv47 it always works This way for me.? James

Well I’ve no idea if it’ll take it as the signal leds aren’t on, this is why I’m asking for help as it doesn’t mention that in the manual. I have the address on the layout on the z21 app ready to go.

Ok so problem solved, my CR signals are -ve common and the DR4018 are +ve common, used DR4103 adaptors and signals now working.
