YC1 Update
Strat Draft's conversion program left a lot to be desired this year. I have literally done at least 100 corrections based on emails from managers in my leagues. PLEASE VERIFY YOUR ROSTERS. Our draft is scheduled for Saturday, 3/1. I'm going to let the draft begin untimed a little earlier, probably Thursday, 2/27. If there are any players missing from the draft in Strat Draft, you must report it PRIOR to the draft starting (2/27).? Once the draft begins, the player pool is locked.

Roster Cutdown Day is 1/31. Cuts MUST be made on Strat Draft. Rookies and IR players are due by 1/31 as well.

Rookies and IR Roster - Please make sure your rookie selections and IR designees are showing on the 2025 Tab in GS. The number of IR players there updates the number of protects you are allowed on the 2025 Tab. There appears to be several teams who have not yet claimed any rookies or designated anyone for the IR.

There are also several reports of players showing up multiple times on their rosters, as well as players missing from the bottom of the My Competition screen which displays YTD stats.

I'm going to try to keep rosters and stats current on the GS, but no promise on when yet.

SD Conversions
All my leagues have been converted to the 2024 players. Please check your rosters. I am very disappointed in the number of errors that have occurred to this point with the SD Conversion process. If you see a player listed twice on your roster, there's no need to let me know about that. It's a bug in SD. There are also a number of players that are not appearing on the lower part of the page under My Competition, which is where the current YTD stats are. This is also a bug in SD, and no need to report this. What you should let me know though is if any player MISSING from your roster.

1. If you are protecting an uncarded player, they will NOT be shown on SD now. I will have to add them as Auxiliary players next week when I get back home. Make sure that you account for them in the number of protected players you're keeping and remember not to double-count any players that may be appearing twice on your roster.

REMINDER: Protects are due in 8 days, 1/31.?

IMPORTANT UPDATE
The SD site has just converted from the 2023 players to the 2024 players. This means I need to restore files and check recent transactions to insure everything is correct. Unfortunately, this occurs at a time that I had to travel to Michigan for 5 days because of a gravely ill brother-in-law. Please do not send condolences. I'll be back Saturday night and then have an all-day pool tournament on Sunday. So it may be as late as Monday that I will have everything back up and accurate.

Players that might be available include Ernie Clement (starting 3B on Toronto), Lawrence Butler (starting RF on the Athletics), Bryan De La Cruz (starting RF on Atlanta) or Austin Wells (starting C on New York Yankees). BIG Players available
After evaluating my team for this year (and wiping away the tears), I have decided to completely rebuild. The ONLY players not up for discussion are Caminero, Winn, and Burnes. Some of the players that could become part of your team are the following.

Shohei Ohtani - Yes, Ohtani, the best player in the game. It's going to take a huge offer to pry him away, but I'll trade him. Any ridiculous offer for him will be ignored

UPDATE: Just reminding everyone again that 1/31 is the deadline for cuts, rookie claims, and IR designations. The full SOM ratings were released for sale ($17 to download) yesterday on their website. Rosters may not be over 25 by 1/31. IR players do not count towards your 25. You may protect less to utilize more of your draft picks. |

Cuts, Rookie claims, and IR designations are due by 1/31. I have been very busy with non-SOM stuff lately, so if you don't see your designations on the Google sheet (GS) and already sent them, please forward them to me again. If you have any questions about this, please see the RULES tab.

You will see your rookie protects and IR designations on the first tab of the GS. You may not see your rookies on the SD site yet. Once SD has imported the 2024 player set, I can add them.

If you still have not been in the GS, the link can be found in SD under Front Office, League Office, League Files.?

Protecting a rookie will cost you your 1st pick in the draft.
?
The IR is limited to only 2 players. Hitters must have 90 PA or less and pitchers must have 30 IP or less AFTER THE 120% FACTOR.

The Draft will begin 3/1. I will open it up earlier on an un-timed basis.?
?
Note:?SOM's fielding range ratings are available on the??website now for free and their full ratings will be available (for purchase) in approximately one week.

Re: Important Update
The maintenance of the ROSTER tab on the Google spreadsheet has become a nightmare to maintain, and I will no longer be maintaining it. The Google sheet will now be used for everything EXCEPT the rosters. Those can be found in StratDraft. Those looking for the 2024 stats for all teams can find them under Draft Views, View My Competition.
