Normally I would not post something like this to the entire group. However, because of how bad circumstances are with the coronavirus and everybody having a great deal of stress, I felt like this was important to tell you.
Because we have a senior dog, sometimes when we put him out, he can’t make it to the grass. I am the one who goes out and cleans up after that. I do This every day. It’s because I love him so much!
This morning when I went outside, I found a small pair of scissors laying on our sidewalk just after you step down from our porch. They weren’t there yesterday. And they weren’t rusted. If you know anything about the law or how things work these days in criminal society. You will know that using scissors to force your way in to someone’s home or to hurt them, it’s not considered a felony weapon.
Also what I want to tell you is that for weeks ago a man across the street and two houses down was held up on his porch at knife point. Yes, this made the news. He was 78 years old and he had just gotten home from driving his Uber route. They took his wallet and they took his car keys. They sped off in his car at 5 AM in the morning. I live in a really good neighborhood. The side of our neighborhood are mostly seniors and people with no children. So except for a few annoying people, it’s very quiet on the side of our subdivision. We have never had this kind of problem until recently. I just want you all to be aware that this stuff is happening and it could Happen even in the best of neighborhoods. Just be very alert about your surroundings.
Yes, the police stopped the car at a traffic stop and arrested the two people that stole the guys car. However, we all know there is a third person. They just wouldn’t give up that person’s name. They had to get to our subdivision somehow.
I just want all of you to be safe. So please take what I’m telling you seriously. I wouldn’t tell you this kind Of personal stuff on list if I didn’t have concerns for everyone’s safety. I consider you all my friends.
Don’t worry, I am totally fine and all the kids are fine too and my husband. I think one of the kids scared whoever it was away.
I will start taking one of the kids outside with me to take the trash out! LOL
