I guess they wrote it that Jack was in the service overseas and had a brief affair. He didn’t know about chemo until later years. This was a really long time ago for me! Lol I think chemo’s mothers name was Lon. (That is not gonna come out right in spelling or dictation.) Anyway, she had a daughter too. They brought her and the daughter and chemo on the show years ago. Jack married her, but she passed away. Don’t remember what happened to the daughter or even her name. I think they were Vietnamese but I’m not sure.
