X6200 and XPA125B Auto Band Switching

Hi,
?
I noticed that when I connect my X6200 to the XPA125B amp with the amp set to the auto band switching mode, the display on the amp does not display the same band setting as the radio.? For example, with the radio on the 80m band it shows 75/80m but flips back and forth between that and 60m.? With the radio on the 40m band the amp displays 30m.? ?Please see attached photo.
?
Has anyone else experienced this?? If so, has anyone discovered a fix?
?
Thanks,
Dave/K5HC

Hi Dave,

This is caused by RF radiation, please connect the grounding of the X6200 with the grounding of your XPA-125B. I had it as well a while ago.

I had the same situation with an X6100/XPA125B and I came across a post that suggested that you run the XPA125B and the X6100 on different power supplies, and that worked for me. Ground loop problem? Maybe. Anyway it's fine now.
