Hi I have been using XM Log for quite a while, I also keep a paper log, old timers habit, I use to know how to do it but I have forgotten and I'm having dificulty with the instructions, when I fill out the log how do I convert it to send to TQSL, can anyone give me tips on how to make files and when I should delete them, I use N1MM for contests and a month ago I made a file for just my DX contacts, I was able to send in my contacts with that one but I'd like to stick with XM Log. 73 John K2IZ

Hello Mike and group, I have been using XMLog for years with my Kenwood TS-890S (and, previously, a TS-590SG) and OmniRig. I'm adding a FlexRadio 8600M as soon as it ships. I am trying to understand how to use it with XMLog. The 8600M only supports two USB host ports, and these ports only support a USB2COM (FTDI) and a parallel interface, so no simple "connect the radio's USB port to the PC" as with my current set up. The 8600M is very "Ethernet-centric" so there may be some method that I'm missing. I think that I can use a pair of USB2COM adapters connected with an RS232 null modem cable to connect the 8600M and the PC but that seems pretty cumbersome. I apologize if this should have been posted at the FlexRadio forum, instead. Thank you for any help that you can provide. -- 73, Jim W7EED
