They do develop a bit of play you can swap out the 6mm bolts with some AN4 (1/4") which will help as they are slightly oversize (6.35mm) Unfortunately 5/16" and 8mm is basically?the same so not benefit there changing out bolts unless the 8mm ones are worn. Also it is better not to have the stainless plates perfectly parallel with the slots in the ends of the alum fittings a bit of out of line keeps the whole thing slop and rattle free. They will actually wear quicker if the fit is loose from the start. Same with jury struts. ? I always replace out the pins on the jury struts with bolts to prevent the rattles. ? [email protected] All Messages By This Member #11625 Thanks?Seamus, ? That is probably the route I am going to go. ?Tomorrow I plan on going to the field and try an AN 5 bolt on my strut, if that doesn't help I am going to replace it with an AN6.
