The manufacturers of Dacron do not recommend that you spray any materials onto the Dacron because it can affect both the Dacron and the double sided sticky tape and even the stitching which holds everything together

I am trying to find out specifics regarding my 2008 X Air Hanuman, with specifics to the covering.

The covering on my plane seems to be good 8.5/10 condition.

?

I believe it is Dacron 170grams per square meter polyester fabric covering.

?

Is Mylar and Dacron covering the same thing?

?

I remember seeing some info on this covering but I seemed to have lost it.

?

I thought I remember reading that: the covering is good for up to 1000hours of direct UV sunlight exposure or 2500hours total time in shade or sunlight.

?

Does this seem correct?

Anyone have any info on our x air covering?

I recently gave the plane a full detail and then sprayed Lucas Slick Mist with uv protection on it.
