X-Air Ultralight Aircraft X-Air windscreen

The Original screen is only 1.5mm, but properly installed it doesn't flex hardly anything, I have a 78hp engine on my aircraft?with no issues?but replacing with 2mm does make it more rigid, and a few people have done this.?
Fitting 3mm would be difficult, as it would?very hard to curve to shape?and very heavy.

I replaced my windscrean last year and learned a few things that you may benefit from . firstly the Original Lexan was too light? 2mm and flexed alarmingly under full power . So I used heavier material , 3mm. and found that this sorted out the flexing problem. there is obviously a weight penalty?but I think that the benefits far outweigh this ,??

Yes, i agree with Seamus....? 3mm is WAY to thick and distorts your vision. 6 mm as tried by one of my customers will brake your spirit and wallett.... ? 2mm is perfect !
