Re: Hanuman bungee

I just replaced mine with 10mm non certified bungee cords. No need to order the chords from the factory unless you want to pay 200% mark up and have to wait 2+ weeks. I got mine locally for 25$CDN after taxes - 45 feet, more than enough.

I believe I cut 4 pieces at 60 inches long each piece. Simply wrap as tight as you can go and you're done.?

If you think it's right enough, go tighter.

Good luck.

You should order new bungee from xair dealer. The dealer for Europe is Randkar company located in France. I did That recently. It is rather hard to install the new bungee it is two mans job but if you are younger than 25 years old you might do it
alone.

About gas shocks I have no idea but I recommend to use parts as describet in manual

Efni: [XAIR] Hanuman bungee

I'm considering changing the bungees on my undercarriage, they seem a bit tired. I have seen some people replace them with gas shocks, which I would love to do, but don't know the details of what would be done. I haven't found any kits, and I'm not super familiar with the specs of shocks. I was told one fellow used the kind on dirt bikes, but nothing more specific than that.

Has anyone swapped to shocks, and if so, what were the parts and how did you do it?

Has anyone replaced the bungee cord? If so what kind of cord did you use and are there any tricks to it? (I know to wrap it with the weight off, but that's about it)

Thanks!

Tom
