Infrequently, when I first apply power to my X5105 and my manual tuner is set to a different band, when I press the key the rig transmits for a few seconds and stops. That gives me enough time to realize my tuner is not set to the same band and the impedance mismatch allows the unit to transmit only for a few seconds and shutdown. ? So, just wondering what you are using for a load and if it could be that there is a mismatch and it is showing the same conditions that I experience upon key-down? You may try transmitting into a dummy load to see if it behaves the same. ? Best 73, Lou N2JPR ?
