Hi all,
well.. I like the PSK31 decoding function, but how to make a qso in PSK without extra PC?
Main message can be pre-programmed as memo, that is fine. Only thing is, if you want to answer a CQ, how to quickly enter the Call sign of that station?
Like.. XX1ABC de DF2OF. I have not found any easy way to do that. If I want to make a qso with someone I need to send his call...
Sure you can enter it manually in a cumbersome process, but not during a qso..hi.

Is there any other way to do this? Xiegu does have not thought about that topic - a pity.

I found this feature too. It will even send a message memory in CW, PSK, or RTTY. But there is no loop back from the message audio to the transmitter on PSK or RTTY.

What you can do is hold the microphone by the speaker and send the message memory on PSK or RTTY. ??

It’s not a very good system and the message memory menu is hard to use. So I gave up on the idea and went back to using the PC linked to the radio.

And now that the 6100 is out, I am sure further firmware upgrades for the 5105 will never be seen. Shame, that.?
