I sent mine back for repair and never heard from or saw it again... Recycle it, they are truely junk, quality control is typical bad...

Look here dude, I had a G1m brand new stole from me with solar panels a Dell mini , no such thing as a X1m .

Love the replies.? From the "total junk" to denying the existence of the radio.? Some of these X1Ms are fine.? I'll dig through my emails, but there was one user on the old Yahoo group that offered repairs.? I had one of these for years and made lots of contacts.? Upgraded to the 5105 and sold it.

Replied to Bob directly, but if anyone needs too, uploaded archive of
files on X1M to , the will be accessible for
week or so. I have posted previously these files when group moved, but
I dunno if someone shared that. This is complete archive of files
section in old yahoo group and some files from manufacturer's CD and
website when one existed.

I have had 3 of the X1M.? Repaired 2 as I bought them non-working, and resold them.? They are a nice little radio and work well, although they aren’t a G90 which I also own and repair. ? 73, Clint, VE3CMQ ?

What do you use as replacement for the little UPC1678G MMIC PA driver?
I see some on ebay. Most with 509 date code. Some with 308 date code. I've had good
results with inexpensive parts like 2n3904 from aliexpress but have heard that higher
pried parts are often mislabeled.

Hi Bob, ? I get mine from Aliexpress and haven’t had any problems with them.? My eyes are not that great these days, so reading date codes, even part numbers are difficult, and that is using a magnifying glass.? I am getting close to the point where working on SMT is going to be a thing of the past! ? 73, Clint, VE3CMQ ?

I saw your post on the 开云体育 site and it rang a bell in my
memory from long ago ;-)
Back in the day, failure of that part was a concern and there was
a discussion about replacing it on the old Yahoo forum.? So, I
bought 6 of them and put them away just in case I needed them
someday.?? They are in a little zip lock labeled "UPC1678G MMIC
Amp X1M Part".?? I think I got them from Digikey.
You are welcome to them if you can use them, I never will. ? They
could be in the mail to you today.? I wish I had remembered when I
sent the package, I would have included them.?? Maybe Clint could
use the extras?

Hi Bob, ? I purchased a bunch of them from Aliexpress a few weeks ago, so I am good.? I probably will never use them all.? I repair a lot of rigs here in Canada.? They are quite popular and are inexpensive.? I paid about $0.25 each, if I remember correctly. ? 73, Clint, VE3CMQ ?

I believe that the manual has the correct procedure, at least that is what I used several years ago and it still is good.
