In these topsy-turvy times, when there seems no solid ground, this bit of Psalm 23 has been a reassurance to me that He will lead me and us only into those places and circumstances in which He provides all that is necessary.

Because the Lord is my Shepherd,

I shall never want for any necessary thing,

For He leads me into lush green pasture and to quiet pools of water.

He restores, He renews, He refreshes, He wakes my soul to all His wonders that is, to Himself.
