The new Tomb Raider

Terry Sofian All Messages By This Member #45 I just saw the new Tomb Raider reboot and the first of the Jolie ones to refresh my memory. In the new one Lara gets her ass kicked, a lot. In the Jolie ones Lara kicks everyone else's ass a lot. The new one is certainly a better film. The older one has two decent scenes, one the opening with Lara fighting a robot and the second in the ancient temple in Southeast Asia were all the statues come to life. The new film doesn't have any single scene that is as much fun as those two were but the overall film is far less stupid. Terry Sofian tsofian@...
Dan G All Messages By This Member #46 Thanks for the review, Terry. Being an old A Quartermain (even the R Chamberlain version. LOL)/ I Jones/ etc fan I ~ sorta ~ liked the old Tomb Raider flick. Not being a game player I just figured I must have been missing something that others found so darn GREAT about the flick. But I did enjoyed the highlights you pointed out. = Wasn't too sure about a reboot version, but it seems that's about all we get these days. More Reboots. So it goes, I reckon. I wasn't really planning on watching this one, but now I might add it to my list. What the heck, it's gotta be better than more rebooted Spandex and Mega-Moused Star Wars! LOL? Keep It FUN! Dan G
