What really gets to me is they HAD equipment that worked and did the job to start with. Why the hell have they got to go start from scratch and take all the chances to screw it up like WE know they will. Can't ANYBODY leave good enough alone anymore?????????? I get so damn tired of the NEW that DOESN'T WORK being?shoved down our throats ...?

It sure sounds to me like you got it 100% right!!!!!

I picked up another semi-kit for on down the road since I am working on the Hornet ... attached a pic of it. 3' long 3D printed Nautilus parts and one finished. The guy printed it special for me to make it easier to grind out the inside for a partial interior. Unfortunately?all the windows he has are also 3D printed in a kind of frosted material so I will have to do something about that. I have LOTS of experience?in resin casting so if it comes down to that I can clear cast them but it won't be fun. Not sure yet but kind of leaning towards painting it a bronze color using some of that fancy flip/flop paint. I did a R/C truck using that kind of Gold paint and it is PPPUUURRRRRRRDDDYYY!!!!! LOL
