If it's coming from a coal-fired electricity plant that doesn't have to make its
emissions very clean at all, it's that, overall, worse for the environment?
They'd just be moving the pollution from the personal space to the corporate
space. Solar, wind, or nuclear, groovy, I think there's enough of a savings
there, though I'm not sure the price of solar components is down low enough to
compete economically with fossil.

losses through transmission from the power plant. How much fuel is actually consumed to give you that 12-25 H.P.? I'll keep my fossil fuel burner as long as I can and eliminate the inefficient middle man.
