That sounds encouraging, I hear tales from other bikers of them having to replace tyres every 2 or 3000 miles...but they probably have bikes churning out 3.5 million BHP.

I am heading towards 10000 miles on my Conti Tours <> . The guy who sold them to me uses them on all his bikes and says it's not unusual to get 12 - 13000 out of them. I am going to put on another set this winter. Great tire for me - good grip, wears like iron - but I do not ride very aggressively.
