Re: turn signal wiring problem

Yes, the stock rear signals are normally off (they have two wires) and thus use a different bulb with only one filament; and the front ones have three wires (on all the time) with two filaments in the bulbs. Your current draw would appear to be a bit high due to the change you are introducing. I am not sure of the answer, though. No good at electrics.

Subject: [W650riders] turn signal wiring problem

I replaced all my signals and the tail light with after market ones.
I am having some problems. The tail light works great with the stock
signals, but once I hooked up the new signals the tail light pops a
fuse each time I turn the bike on. However, the signals all work
properly without the tail light on. My turn signals all have triple
wires. How do I wire the back signals since there is just two wires
going to them? Also, should the rear signals be off when the bike is
on? Trial and error is not working, 5 fuses blown with no luck.
