To navigate this area you will need high clearance, 4WD, Low range, and lockers. If you can't make the final climb to parking, the hike over becomes a mile or so longer than the .8 mile hike over to the summit we took. Nice hike over on the old road/trail. We looked for the SOTA cache, but did not find it. Don’t you guys look at the SOTLAS peak site before an expedition?? There you will find very specific directions, coordinates, and photos of the cache, hi hi.? ?
