Recommendation

Any one have a recommendation for a cheap 2m or dual band mobile radio that i can program with Chirp and is at least 35 watts?

?

^ That one is actually quad band. 10-6-2-440 FM

I haven't had the first radio, but have heard good reviews. Haven't had the second one either but I have actually played with it. Works and runs really good.

Now if you want a truly compact and very affordable radio with 25 watts, this is the ticket. It will fit in the palm of your hand.

I have the BTECH hand-held DMR radio, and used it during the Tour de Cure(analog to the BCRO repeater), and it worked great. I would suggest if you choose a BTECH radio to order direct through their website or amazon storefront to make sure you get the warranty.(yes those actually have a US warranty if ordered directly from BTECH)?
