Clayton, "The Net that was not to be" (appreciation in order)

 

Clayton had Net Control duty for Saturday February 2nd. He fired up his rig, put forth the intro, called for check ins, and behold, silence.... Certainly we all know that is the nature of things, life is magic that way and it happens, not a big deal. Let's as a collective give Clayton a hearty, Thanks for being there !? ?I will throw my humble excuse out in the public forum. I mismanaged a length of coax at our 700 field day, it found it's way to Huntsville with Jon. It was the main conduit of RF from my radio to antenna. I am too lazy to drive to Huntsville so I ordered a chunk of coax from Ohio. Well the mail was delayed for Arctic Vortex, I am KG5ZBQ / Alpha Silent...? To Clayton, many Thanks for your dedication to the 700.? ?

I've met that dead air myself as NC for other nets and it's no fun.? Thanks for keeping the light on for us, Clayton.? I quite simply forgot about the net.? I've been snowed in with work the last few days and haven't glanced at a clock in a while.
