Checking

Kyle,
?
Just checking that you can receive this. ?You should be able to respond, maybe not to an old post, but anything else that pops up.

Yeah I can reply, I just can¡¯t make new topics.

Well, we will check into it¡. Might have something checked that shouldn¡¯t be. ?

Thanks for getting me set up on here Barbara. Glad you were able to get me checked in tonight. I¡¯m going to have to check over my equipment tomorrow and see what was causing me so many issues

We will be in Dothan first thing but will be back later in the afternoon¡ reach out if you want to try and see if it connects better or just bounce a few things.

Sounds great, thanks

Do you need to test your 2 meter radio??

No, my telescopic mast didn¡¯t lock right and collapsed in on itself before the meeting yesterday. I noticed it this morning. Pretty confident that was the problem.

??

Thanks for checking in, I think I¡¯m going to order a new mast later this week or next to rectify the issue. Seems like one of the locking mechanisms broke

You might want to ask the group WARC if they have any good ideas or suggestions to stay away from. It can¡¯t hurt.?

Appreciate the advice, I¡¯ll do that. I was just using an old telescopic flagpole I had laying around but if someone has a good suggestion in their, I¡¯m sure it would be a better route going forward.

ALL,
I need to withdraw from the ARES group and related activities although I should still be on the net from time to time.

Please remove my name from the roster and related e-mail and groups.

Thank you for understanding.
