The National Weather Service has updated their prediction for the storm. in addition to the previously issued warning, they’re now predicting up to a quarter inch of ice for Cambria and Somerset counties. Just south of Clearfield county. It wouldn’t be striding to see the area of ice shift a little north and include Clearfield County. Looks like this will be a Sunday morning event. I've been busy trying to line up sponsors and door prizes for our very first hamfest. It was necessary to move the meeting up one week due to the Christmas holiday. Tons to talk about. Lots of progress. It's great to see this group being created in the hopes that more hams will be active participants in their local area. I hear there is a brand new Central Pa Hamfest on the horizon for next year, a first of it's kind.
