W?VFW/ R on 145.27 has been connected to The Blind Hams Hub 24x7.? There are other groups, and they my interest you.
If you're interested in a hot spot, figure about $150 if you build your own all new- less if you scrounge.? $180 to300 all ready built and tested. Using a hot spot and a handheld you can connect to these nodes as easily as dialing the phone.
