Locked Texas Wildfire Ham News
Good morning,
Just wanted to let you know that Texas RACES is active during the historic wildlife events. I have looked for information about Oklahoma groups and haven't found any yet. This is from the official state website. I personally haven't been too active due to spin off from CV exposure health issues. I hope to start work on one of my base station antenna late this afternoon. I have been doing some work also on my 6M/FM base antenna also. I might have it fixed. 73's Chuck Digby --KB0TOT " Larrys-List | FYI Topics Date State of Texas>>>Wildfire KB0TOT Chuck Feb 29 ? Thursday, February 29, 2024? ?. This shows that emergency communication extends beyond storm spotting. Nothing in the way of an update or showing amateur radio in use has been found by me to date.
