In the invent that VFW is open for us to hold the Side Walk Sale June 15 th I was asked to contact Mark and get some pointers. I contacted Mark Breche (Radio Shack) On the phone. Mark and Shane are in for the Sidewalk sale. Things that were brought up. 1. Check on city permit 2. Inform Police department on west central that we are going to fold this event. And the start - finish times. 3. To get the word out by using this Radio communication 145.270 VFW advertisement 146.940. Sunday 5:30 pm Ten tec 4. Print up a flyer of 100 sheets and get them to Mark ASAP to take to Claremore Oklahoma Ham Feast which is in 2 weeks or less. 12-13 April So we are down to getting the Post 3115 backing on allowing to have this event. Then flyer Then the details has to whom will be supplying: Water Food Door prize Venders could be contacted Icom Yaesu MFJ Fly should read as follows Event name___________________ Sponsored by_________________ Location _____________________ Date______\_____\______ Time it starts ________ to Ends_____ Rules as in parking, first come first spot.
